“You really believed my sarcasm? I don’t have a girlfriend. I never have. I haven’t even kissed a girl. Never will. Don’t take me so literally.” He says with a sigh. He sits down half a meter away from Glimmer. “Sorry I freaked out it’s just… You know my dad died from taking pills.” He mutters.
“What are you like gay now?” She asked, laughing a bit in confusion. She had no idea that his dad had died from taking pills or did she know and just forget? “Yeah. Sorry, Whatever. Just, trust me, alright? I’m not like taking them all the time or taking over the recommended amount, Marv.” She nudged him with her shoulder a little bit. “Now, lets talk about Homecoming, shall we?” She said with a grin.

Marvel entered walked to the gym and peered through the doors to see Glimmer slipping that stuff she takes under her tongue. He sighed and shook his head. The girl hadn’t seen him. When she was done, he walked in, trying to wipe the rather bitter look off his face. He saw her jump when he walked in. She smiled at him and greeted him as if she hadn’t just taken a drug. “Stop.” He says. He snatches Glimmer’s bag and pulls out the xanax. “What the hell do you think you’re doing, Glim?”
Glimmer looked at him in confusion. “Really? You know I have anxiety issues. It’s prescribed Chill out.” She said snatching the bottle back from him. So what? She didn’t take it like she was supposed to but everyone self medicated right? “It’s nice to see you too. How’s the girlfriend?” She asked in a snap, shoving the pills back in her bag that she had grabbed back from him.

Glimmer walked into the gym with a clip board in hand. She had to get a committee going some how and the only person that had wanted to help her so far as Marvel. So, she put out posters for Homecoming Committee sign ups for the gym at four today. It was only 3:30 but she figured she’d get there early just in case. The blonde girl walked over to the bleachers and sat down a few rows up from the bottom. She was itching to use her creative side for the dance. Luckily for her though, her father had money so this was going to be the best Homecoming ever. Glimmer was going to make sure of it.
But just to make this process a little easier Glimmer slipped her hand into her purse and pulled out half a bar of xanax and slipped it under her tongue. Normally, she preferred to snort it, usually in her car by herself. But if she had no where to go, then she would just slip it under her tongue. She jumped when she heard the gym doors open. She relaxed when she realized it was Marvel. She rubbed her tounge against her teeth to make her xanax dissolve faster. “Marvel!” She said with a bright smile, grabbing her water bottle and taking a drink to get the gritty feeling out of her mouth.
